got no regrets I'm on the run chasing the check dropping the top riding the vet feeling myself what you expect you know I'm with it no better feeling cuz I could have quit but I didn't 7 when I'm on a mission moving it up to a better position what's going on YouTube world what's going on YouTube World Charles hederson here and today man like we started doing a mystery balls and it was like kind of very like coincidental that uh another company has a mystery ball at the same time U but yes it was the swag stuff a lot of people either saw the
logos or whatever the case was and they kind of figured it out um so the first ball that again speaking about here is the swag unreal this one definitely by far uh was the most like huh what is that like that's that's not typical swag especially when we talking about their stronger equipment like anything with especially their asymmetric stuff typically like on fresh fresh oil right like was again very round um but the swag onreal like but it's new cover
stocks um I think a lot of the cores are still being used uh currently with this first gen um but again it looked really really good um this was you know I was told this is in comparison to like a phas two right but it comes out of box with Polish so you take that polish off and oh boy I'mma throw just a shot in here here because I haven't had time to go back and film it how it would normally right it's just going to be a phone off my iPhone but man this is on a
fresh out shot too like it was fresh and this ball looked crazy I might show that now actually like just watch that but yes man so we're going to get into it I threw a lot of good shots this was on a modified um I think it was K chromium is what this this pattern was um the unreal so these first set of shots were all on a you know it's not a true sport shot but it's just something a little flatter so I wanted to be able to play a little straighter with not having to manipulate my hand like crazy
so yeah man hope you guys enjoy man I'll get over to BS smart.com I think the swags new site should be up as well um so let's get in to the video man yall going to see some of my like you know cuz it it really did surprise me I've thrown a lot of Swag equipment a lot of the staff uh whether we talk talking about Patrick roer or um it's a couple guys really slipping my mind right now that constantly like are in a good communication uh with me uh Matt Matt as well he's he's another guy um and then
myON he's another guy that just he he's been like in my ear just trying to you know hey let's piece some things together um and then arnesto my guy oresto man he's helped with do some giveaways and again just people are very instrumental like the this particular staff right like they are very in tune with the product and they really want to push uh and help you know bowlers make the best bowling decisions possible so hey I think we're going to see a lot of that continue a lot of these people are transitioning into the new new swag um
but yeah so I did enough talking um but the the numbers the numbers I didn't have them in the initial video at the time so I want to give that to you now um so initially we have uh the swag on reel has a never quit solid that's the never that's the name of the cover stock um again solid cover then corewise we got a 251 and a differential of 047 um again it's symmetric so it's no intermediate diff so it comes out of box
1500 grip uh polished honestly I believe this is going to be a way better ball at 2,000 like you hit it with you know 1,000 2,000 I did it by hand and it looked oh my it looked even crazier like it looked crazy in this video but it's going to look even crazyer but want to give you that because I don't talk about the numbers uh in the video um that I that I shot again a month ago now but I want to give you that information so you can be informed so of course there's going to be more stuff on the way other comparisons of course a phase two but uh
yeah man let's get to the video so but hit that like subscribe button much appreciated and uh yeah get to Bool Tamarac and take care of me take care of you and a b Pro Shop they got you covered as well for everything else jerseys cool.com and then also your gear get to uh bart.com got you so get to the
video oh oh okay we locked in now oh unreal really unreal man look how much that joker [Music] hooked oh that
was y That's 10 back that was that was no B 10 back all right currently standing on 20 that's look good in every spot on the lande like that that that is that might be one of the ones I'm not going to lie that might be one of them ones
okay so I finally asked a lot of the ball and it ran out a little bit of gas but I'm not mad B reaction wise that one is it's pretty good but let's go ahead and do a full gam I'm I'm I'm I feel like this is a this a big game I'm a little bit straighter look pretty good and giv this angle looks even better in my
opinion I still feel like that was like my best bet shot but that worked that really worked that was a better shot that's that is that is wild oh lay
off hey they on or something with this one oh man oh late please oh I was afraid that wasn't that wasn't going lay off like oh it's a little end but I'm I'm inching left but that last sh I think I was closer to like 27 for my feet and this it's circling oh I tested it why I do
that ah move up didn't keep my eyes left my eyes I was having a little too fun too much fun there sorry about that oh so got to give it room this Ball's hooking all right let's get back to what we was doing oh Jesus okay do it way over there
ah h a little bit nope no bueno all right all right we had our little vacation our vacation is over PTO is used up so so far this is definitely giving me you know in that middle range maybe that upper middle you know symmetric giving me some shape give me a lot a lot of
shape 10 back 10 back 10 back 10 back man man when y'all find out what all this is bro like y'all just going to be like man come on come on I need a [Music] case wow that
is that is that's something that that just told me move that way like that much further like that's like the pattern's opening up and this ball is starting to nose died
left solid solid all right move a little further oh so that is it nice little 222 game man I thought it ball was going to lay off sometimes and it didn't it just kept going crazy so hey man y'all let me know what y'all think this wall is down below Pearl solid hybrid we know it's shiny
but we don't know what cover it is um and just let me know which brand uh yeah hit like subcribe button buy I my on the lake one in the B what can I say I want it all
Performance Analysis
Performance Analysis
Testing revealed the SWAG Unreal demonstrates solid angular motion with a notable strength in mid-lane recovery and pin action consistency. On a moderately fresh house shot, the Unreal was tested alongside the Storm Phase 2 as a comparative reference point. Independent reviewers observed that the Unreal’s reactive solid coverstock generated early read and clean angular motion through the oil, with the ability to maintain line integrity across multiple shots. When surface adjustments were applied (1000/2000 grit), the ball showed improved control and predictability. Across a full test game, the Unreal consistently produced strikes and exhibited what testers described as optimal deflection characteristics—enough pin action for carry-through without over-angular reaction that can lead to corner pins or deflection misses.
A key performance observation was the Unreal’s forgiving nature with speed variation. Testers noted that both slightly slower rolls and increased velocity produced acceptable results in medium-heavy oil, suggesting the ball accommodates a range of release styles. The Phase 2, by comparison, required more precise speed control and generated more angular, darting reactions in the same conditions. As the lane transitioned and oil patterns broke down, the Unreal maintained more consistent strike production, demonstrating stability as lane conditions deteriorated—a practical advantage in longer sessions or league play where oil gets worked down.
The ball’s performance did reveal some limitations in overall continuation through the pin deck compared to higher-differential designs, though reviewers emphasized this isn’t necessarily detrimental to scoring. The moderate differential and symmetric core design prioritize control and reaction predictability over extreme length, making it a lane-condition responsive choice rather than a skid-heavy backend dominator.
Who Is This Ball For?
The SWAG Unreal is well-suited for bowlers seeking a dependable workhorse in medium to medium-heavy oil conditions who value consistency and forgiveness over maximum hook potential. Intermediate to advanced bowlers who throw with varying speeds or prefer not to make constant adjustments will find the Unreal’s stable reaction profile advantageous. League bowlers and those playing in house conditions will appreciate its ability to maintain performance as lanes transition throughout a session—it doesn’t require the precision speed control that more angular balls demand.
At $149.95, the Unreal represents strong value for bowlers building a two-ball arsenal or upgrading from entry-level reactive gear. It’s less ideal for players already throwing high-differential pieces or those competing in heavily oiled sport conditions where maximum length and sharp backend motion are essential. Similarly, bowlers with extremely consistent arm speeds may find more specialized equipment beneficial. However, for the typical league player or recreational bowler wanting reliable strike production with minimal adjustment required, the Unreal delivers practical, repeatable performance.
The Pros
- • Polished solid coverstock creates a unique blend of length and midlane traction
- • The Unreal Core at .047 differential delivers strong flare and consistent pin carry
- • Compared favorably to the Storm Phaze 2 — a legitimate benchmark competitor at $149.95
- • Versatile shape that works for a wide range of bowling styles and rev rates
The Cons
- • Polished solid at 1500 grit may confuse bowlers expecting traditional solid or pearl behavior
- • Not as clean through the heads as a true pearl for bowlers who want maximum length
- • The hybrid-like reaction can overlap with other balls in a larger arsenal
