Performance Analysis
The Track Stealth Hybrid is the hybrid entry in the original Stealth line, combining the beloved Stealth Core with the HK22-Prime Response Hybrid coverstock. The Stealth Core’s numbers — 2.48 RG and .056 differential — remain unchanged across all Stealth releases, which means bowlers get the same powerful symmetric engine regardless of which cover variant they choose. That .056 differential is exceptional for a symmetric core, generating high track flare and strong continuation that rivals many asymmetric designs.
The Prime Hybrid Reactive cover differentiates this release from the solid and pearl Stealth balls. The hybrid blend takes the best of both worlds — solid traction for midlane read combined with pearl responsiveness for clean length and angular backend. At 1500 grit polish, the ball pushes through the front part of the lane before the hybrid cover engages with friction in the midlane. The transition is smooth and controlled, without the violent snap of a pearl or the early heaviness of a solid.
What makes the Stealth Hybrid particularly noteworthy is the depth of professional endorsement. Doug Moss, Brandon Tarabek, Zack Sisk, Drew Klingler, and Joe Grondin all put this ball on camera — a level of pro support that speaks to the ball’s versatility and reliability at the highest levels of competition. When five different professionals with different styles all trust the same ball, it validates the equipment’s ability to perform across a range of rev rates, speeds, and lane conditions.
Who Is This Ball For?
The Stealth Hybrid is designed for bowlers who want the Stealth Core’s power in the most versatile cover format. It excels as a benchmark ball on medium-heavy oil — strong enough to handle fresh conditions but responsive enough to stay in play as lanes break down. League bowlers will appreciate the predictable motion and shot-to-shot consistency, while tournament players can rely on it across multiple games as conditions evolve.
If you own the Stealth Mode solid and need a step-down ball that shares the same core motion, the Stealth Hybrid is the natural pairing. The hybrid cover provides 2-3 feet of additional length compared to the solid, which becomes critical during transition. Note that the newer Stealth Mode Hybrid uses an updated HK22C cover — if you can find the original Stealth Hybrid, it remains an excellent ball, but the Mode Hybrid is its direct successor with updated cover chemistry.
The Pros
- • Same Stealth Core (.056 diff) trusted by PBA professionals across multiple Stealth releases
- • HK22-Prime Response Hybrid cover blends solid traction with pearl length for maximum versatility

- • Five professional bowler endorsements demonstrate proven performance at the highest level
The Cons
